Get ready to put some of the best biker rallies around on your calendar. These events get high fan marks from riders and revelers alike. This list includes a few of the most popular and some off the beaten path.

Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Also called the Race to the Clouds, this one packs it all in – views, turns, excitement, and challenge. Started in 1916, the race is held annually on the last Sunday in June.  Revelers and racers both look forward to the thrill of the climb across 12.42 miles, 156 corners, and a 14,115-finish line.

Tip: Head to Colorado the Friday before the race for the hugely popular Fan Fest.

Thunder in the Smokies Rally

Billed as the largest and oldest rally in Maggie Valley, NC, and the Great Smoky Mountains, this race is a family-friendly event that takes you along the Blue Ridge Parkway and more. Held annually in late June.

Tip: Expect great vendors and big laughs from the Bike Games during this 3-day rally.

Jefferson Town Gaslight Festival (KY)

This eight-day festival is held beginning on the Sunday before the third Saturday of September each year. More than 200,000 show up for this community event which includes a parade and car show.

Tip: Plan to rally and run. This event includes a 5-k walk/run benefitting a worthy cause.

Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

More than 500,000 fans and riders will roll into the Black Hills of South Dakota during the first full week in August for ten-days of food, music, fun, and of course racing. Started in 1938 this event boasts beautiful scenery and a colorful history.

Tip: Love camping? This rally is for you. The Pappy Hoel Campground is ready for hosting duties.

Myrtle Beach Bike Week

Calling all motorcycle enthusiasts! This race makes the bucket list for fans of all stripes. There are two rallies annually in May and October. Come to enjoy the coastline and like-minded crowds.

Tip: Highlights of the week include the Thunder Bikini contest and Motorcycle Drag Race.

Oyster Run (Edison, WA)

Ride the largest motorcycle run in the Pacific Northwest. This rally has been held for nearly 4 decades and attracts 10,000 to 20,000 bikes each September.

Tip: Be ready to go with the flow. This race is free and does not include a scheduled route.

Las Vegas Bike Fest

This one is held in Las Vegas – enough said. Bikers rule the strip for this party on wheels. Just remember the rule, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Held each October.

Tip: Look for big prizes including bikes and cash. Popular off bike events like the Tattoo and Beard contest keep the fun coming.
